Police Shoot Masked Man After Attack On Swedish School

COPENHAGEN, Denmark (AP) â€" Swedish police say they have shot a masked man who attacked a school in southern Sweden, injuring at least one person.

Students fled Thursday morning from the Kronan school in Trollhattan, near Goteborg, Sweden's second-largest city. The school has 400 students, ranging from pre-school to high school.

Police had no immediate report on the conditions of the attacker or the other injured person.

The local Goteborg Tidning daily said six people â€" four students, one adult and the perpetrator â€" have been injured in the attack. A live feed on its web site showed people standing outside a red-brick building with police cars and ambulances parked outside.

This is a developing story. More to come...
